Ordered 10 piece bucket, got 9 pieces, ordered coleslaw, got beans Chips looked like a week old and burnt. Tried phoning the shop 4 times no one answered Disgusting food, only got 1 star as just eat was helpful

I went to the KFC restaurant at Staple Tye in Harlow. After waiting for 20 minutes to be served, I finally ordered my meal. Unfortunately, there were a series of mishaps during my visit. They started preparing my meal but then began serving another customer while waiting for more chicken. My food sat on the side for about 10 minutes before I pointed out that my twister was missing. They put my food to the side again for another 5 minutes before realizing they had to redo my entire order. After waiting for them to prepare the chicken again, they then ran out of chips and had to cook more, causing another delay. Finally, I received my food and left. However, when I got home, I discovered that 4 pieces of boneless chicken, a bag of chips, and a drink were missing. It was a disappointing experience, and definitely not what I would consider fast food.

After experiencing a previous issue with the same KFC store, my partner and I decided to give it another chance. We ordered a takeaway through JustEat, but unfortunately, it arrived an hour late. The fries and chicken strips were cold and rubbery, indicating that they had been sitting out for a while. Additionally, the delivery did not include any dips as stated on the receipt. When we called the store to address these issues, we encountered a rude staff member who showed no interest in resolving the situation. He claimed that items were forgotten by staff members, although this was not the main problem. We were advised to take our concerns to JustEat for a resolution. Overall, the experience was unacceptable and we will not be returning to or ordering from this KFC again.

I visited this branch this evening to get a quick and easy take away for my family. When I got there the shop was heaving with customer there was a bucket of chicken that had been dropped on the floor that no one came out to clear up, bearing in mind I was in the shop for around 15 to 20 minutes and was still there when I left. I eventually got served by the only cashier on the tills even tho there was 5 tills with only one member of staff serving. The young lady who served me was stressed out with all the orders coming in with high demands and no help from her co workers. When she asked for help she was greeted very angrily but her college who was no help at all and also the manager who was very rude and abrupt. I’m my opinion they need more staff and need to work with a smile on there faces as this makes customers fill very uncomfortable and is not great customer service. Doubt I’ll be returning.
