El Control Mexican - Harlingen

DO NOT EAT HERE!! The staff are very unprofessional. I called ahead and asked if they had fideo they assured me they did and said they have a lot left. I get there 15 minutes later and ask for some and they tell me they ran out. They don't have menus. The service sucked, but if you're a male you get the best service. They use the same rag to wipe down the chairs where people's butt touch and the top of the tables which is rather unsanitary. If you notice other bad reviews they say the same thing about the bad service and how they favor men. If you can't handle one person giving a suggestion about your establishment then don't own a restaurant. Be better!

The food was good. but, the staff wasn't doing thier job. maybe, it was a bad day. we kept asking for refills on coffee they took their sweet time. I wouldn't recommend it. Las cazulas is alot better.

The breakfast tacos are so good! They are huge. The flour tortillas were super thin...i loved it....i just didn't like the coffee (if you drink coffee to savor, you won't like it). There is no printed menu.

I like their food and prices and their service is good also. I would recommend it

Great restaurant with friendly staff who are very accommodating—they even took the time to let me pose for this review! The service was quick, and the food was excellent. The salsa was particularly delicious. They offer daily specials and a wide variety of drinks to choose from. Highly recommend!
