Mainland Grille - Harleysville

We made last-minute reservations for New Year's Eve dinner. The monkfish special and craft beer selection were great. The live music, featuring Tyler on guitar and vocals with a country flair, was fabulous. It was a lot of fun and entertaining!

I never had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant. Upon arrival, I was informed that there was a 45-minute wait. I mentioned that I had made a reservation on OpenTable, but the hostess informed me that there were no available tables until later. I was very disappointed to have driven all the way there only to be told this. While we have always had enjoyable dining experiences here in the past, I am now hesitant to make a reservation in case we encounter a long wait upon arrival. It would be appreciated if the restaurant could have the courtesy to inform us in advance if there are any issues with our reservation.

Decent close place to get dinner with the kids. Service is always friendly and attentive. Good live music on Friday (I think) evening makes for a change from just a normal dinner out. Food is pretty good- not great so have not been back as much as prior years with other local options available now.

Very disappointed that we drove up there and that was said. We always enjoyed eating here, but now I hesitate to make a reservation and find out as soon as we arrive that we have to wait so long. At least the courtesy must call and let us know in advance when there is a problem.
