Tollgate - Haringey
Tollgate
Description
The Toll Gate, formerly a Wetherspoons, has received mixed reviews since new ownership took over. While some patrons praise the surprisingly good food and friendly staff, others criticize the unwelcoming atmosphere, rowdy clientele, and lack of real ales. Despite retaining affordable drink prices and a decent food menu, the uncertain closing times, power-crazed security staff, and decline in overall quality have left some regulars hesitant to return. Ultimately, the Toll Gate seems to offer a wide range of experiences, from cozy and welcoming to disappointing and unreliable.

Feedback
I have been visiting the Toll Gate on and off for the last 25 years, and I feel it is much better now under new ownership. The atmosphere is more relaxed, and the service is good, friendly, and professional. The previous staff under Wetherspoons were rude and disrespectful. The pub now has a jukebox, which is nice to have music playing in the background, and it also shows Sky Sports, making it a great spot to watch football. Overall, the Toll Gate is now a great pub!
The manager is completely useless he ring the bell for the last order, and then after 2 minutes I said everyone has to live now he says I don't care if all of you not coming back is the indian manager is very rude with customers. Completely useless
