What User likes about The Blue Legume:
This restaurant is the best place for lunch in Crouch End. Their salads are amazing, and the English breakfasts are brilliant. The service is good for a busy place, but the coffee could be improved with a more modern touch (better brewing techniques, flat white, etc.). Overall, this is a top spot. They also have a good location in Stoke Newington that is worth checking out. View all feedback. What User doesn't like about The Blue Legume:
we had dinner here last week and what a wonderful sound. it is a small restaurant with a romantic feel and very friendly service. we have tried some beautiful Spanish weeping with our delicious food. for the starter we had the scallops and the garnels. the scallop dish was a great combination of scalopps, apfelpüre and pancetta. for the net I had the seafood risotto that was exceptional. my man had the rib-eye steak.... read moreNestled in a cozy corner, this restaurant offers a romantic atmosphere paired with friendly service. Diners rave about delightful Spanish wines and exquisite dishes, with standout options like scallops and seafood risotto. However, not all experiences are equally satisfying; some patrons have criticized the quality of certain menu items, notably the burgers, and have found the service lacking. While the brunch menu has drawn mixed reviews for its execution, the restaurant shines in its lunch offerings, particularly salads and English breakfasts. Despite some inconsistencies, many remain eager to return, drawn by the potential for lovely meals and warm ambiance.
