What WilsonParrot doesn't like about The Elms:
Boxing day dinner was appalling. Roast potatoes were rock hard, carrots disgusting and slimy, Brussels hardly cooked. Waited half hour for desert. No coffee. Waitress apologised twice for the wait. Never go here again. View all feedback. What jackiebB1446BH likes about The Elms:
We went to The Elms on Boxing Day and, as always, our 3-course meal was delicious. Lisa and the entire waitstaff were attentive and polite. We really enjoyed all three courses. Thank you to all the staff at The Elms, and a special compliment to the chef. View all feedback.

read moreThe Elms restaurant has received mixed reviews, reflecting a decline in their carvery offerings while maintaining strong service on the main menu. Frequent patrons have expressed disappointment with cold, poorly prepared carvery items, including burnt roast potatoes and undercooked vegetables. Staff shortages have been noted, with some employees displaying a lack of enthusiasm. In contrast, other diners praised the attentive service and delicious meals, particularly during festive celebrations. While some loyal customers are concerned about the inconsistent quality, others continue to enjoy positive dining experiences, hoping for a return to the restaurant's former excellence.
