Panera Bread - Hanover
Panera Bread
Description
Located in Hanover, this Panera Bread location presents a mixed bag of experiences for diners. While some patrons rave about the fresh and delicious food accompanied by excellent service, others report disappointing meals, including issues with improper cooking and spoiled ingredients. Long wait times, lackluster staff performance, and cleanliness concerns plague the establishment, making for a frustrating visit. Although there are vegetarian options and ample parking, accessibility and kid-friendliness are noted as average. Diners hope for improved hygiene practices and overall consistency, especially given Panera's reputation. For now, the location struggles to meet expectations typical of the brand.

It’s not the greatest Panera bread I’ve ever seen. The steak was really tough and it wasn’t cooked well. I also asked for extra cheese and they didn’t give it. Staff were ok but nothing special. The restaurant was really dirty and nothing was done about it.Vegetarian options: It’s got some vegetarian options but it’s not specially made for vegetarian options.Parking: There’s a lot, but it’s kind of messed up, but there’s a decent amount of spots. If you’re ok walking a little ways, you’ll definitely find a spot.Kid-friendliness: It’s got some kids options but kids aren’t likely to *love* it. They’ll probably be ok with it though eso it’s not the end of the world.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s ok. It’s all on one floor but there’s a double door on the way in so if you’re alone it might be a little difficult
If I could give this location a zero I would! This is the most inept and depressing Panera i 've ever been to! I travel for work and have been to Panera 's throughout New England. I 've been to this one twice in the past year ... but never again!!! Both times As the second person in line I waited almost 10 minutes to finally get my order placed. The customer service is dreadful... never have more than one cashier on and they are slow as molasses. The parking lot is a dangerous disaster area. The food was just meh , and I seriously question their hygiene food practices.. as there were obvious greasy fingerprints on the dishware I received. I would expect alot better in a place like Hanover.
Overheard the store manager trying to hook up the male workers with the female ones a while ago, among just all around being unprofessional and
I ordered three Frontega chicken sandwiches and two bowls of broccoli cheddar soup. All three sandwiches were supposed to be warm, but they arrived cold, had very little chicken, and were mostly just bread! The broccoli cheddar soup was extremely watered down and barely warm. The bread served with the soup was so hard that it must have been left out all day. It was absolutely terrible! What has happened to this place? If I could give it zero stars, I would! This is a joke. I spent almost $60 for what felt like nothing!
