WORST HOTEL!! RUINED MY WEDDING!!!!! I decided to book a room block for my wedding. I live out of town, so I requested to do a video walk through the rooms with a sales associate. Candace Weston showed me rooms and suites. I was sold, so we booked the room block. As soon as the block was booked the entire experience was a disaster. I had to reach out to my new point of contact, Heather Wildberger after waiting a day and a half for her to reach out to me. Right away there was a problem, my guests were unable to book their rooms, it stated that the rooms were all booked. So, my guest started booking elsewhere. Come to find out something was wrong with the site, that took about a week to fix. Once fixed, they opened the rooms to everyone, including our honeymoon suite (at the same rate as a king room). So, one of my guests booked it. They canceled his room and left it to us to call him and explain that he had to rebook. A lot of our guests booked elsewhere because of the original confusion. Then we found out that the suite that was shown to me in the video was not the same one that was booked in our contract. I had to spend days going back and forth with the sales department manager to get that resolved. When we spoke to Heather, she stated that they would save our “welcome package” for our honeymoon night. That never happened. A few of our guests complained of dirty rooms as well. They requested housekeeping, which never came. The day that we moved into our suite, the air was not working. It was extremely hot in the room. The maintenance worker took a picture of the thermostat and told us someone else would come. No one ever came. We called the front desk several times, and no one ever came. This same day we had our rehearsal in our suite with several friends and family. At one point, the bell man came to the room and my husband answered the door. He asked if he could help him, and he said he had business with me. He came to me in front of my family and friends telling me what his work schedule was and that if I was going to tip him. I was so embarrassed. My boss sent a very expensive bottle of champagne via FedEx. We alerted the front desk that we were expecting this package. The package arrived, we went to the front desk to retrieve it and they told us they had to request it from the warehouse. The young lady at the desk was very rude and uncaring about the fact that this very expensive bottle was missing. I left the front desk in tears, It took them 3 days to find the bottle and then when it was delivered to us the box was damaged. The morning of my wedding we ordered food from David’s. Everyone that ate the food spent the day sick. My wedding night was ruined because of this hotel and their staff. We came back to our suite from our wedding to find that our room had not been touched. The room was not cleaned. No welcome gift. No champagne. We spent the night cleaning the room. We slept on dirty sheets. When we went to check out I requested all of our bills, and paid our bills. That night early morning Kimberly Tobey came to our room listening to all the issues we had. After that, it seemed that the ball was dropped again as if we should just get over ALL the problems. Once we got home, I began to get random charges on my card. Over $2000.00 worth of charges that were not mine. I have spent hours upon hours on the phone trying to get an answer to what the charges are, just to finally be told to dispute the charges. We complained several times while staying at the hotel to get apology after apology, yet no resolution. I have been speaking with Matt (front desk manager) and Donray Cooper after the stay and have gotten nowhere. I believe that we have spoken to every operations manager and front desk manager, while everyone agrees that this is not the way the experience should have gone, there has been no resolution.
I spent a couple of hours and had a great time. There's a lot to do in the area and a wonderful ambiance in the casino. Location: 5
