Chaka - Hanoi

Eating is delicious. comes as on the pictures. ordered cha ca, tom yum catfish, catfish porriage (in large seramic pot), su su xao. has made them a lot of fun.

Wonderful food and a good atmosphere. We had their classic set menu that cooked the famous Cha Ka fish bowl, it knocked by marinaded catfish with spring onions and dill, on a small gas cooker on the table. Together with other dishes an unforgettable meal. I would recommend it. Only criticism is that Vietnamese wine is not on the wine list.

Great place for chả cá lá vọng and overall food is very good, however it seems to have deteriorated interior wise since last time i visited.

Cha ca here is very tasty. The fish here is very fresh, and taste is spot one. The rumors and herbs are very fragrant. We also had the fried spring rolls, but it is very bland, not crisp enough and the filling inside does not go with the sauce. Just eat Cha Ca. Service is fast and pretty good. Toilet is very clean compared to other restaurants in Hanoi.

Very attractive restaurant in an old converted French villa. Some of their dishes are spectacular, such as the ca long la lot. However, the fish they use for their eponymous cha ca, catfish, while perfect in texture, has a slightly musty river taste to it, which costs them the fifth star. Prices at Chaka are very reasonable for the ambiance and quality
