I asked one. cocktail not in the repertoire of the bartender and was enthusiastically accommodated. I order a steak that was perfectly cooked. the entire staff (including chef and manager) was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had some wonderful experiences while in hannover was the best (conversation, service and eating).

The potatoes were very good, the salmon tartar way too salty and more onion than salmon. The English menu shows higher prices than the German one....Not recommended.

The menu is enhanced German cuisine with a fair amount of variety. The cream of mushroom soup was phenomenal--flavorful and complex. The filet of pork was a mixed bag. The meat...was slightly overdone and as a result, a bit dry. It was so overwhelmed by the sauce that its flavor was insubstantial. The vegetables were overcooked and a bit tired. On the other hand, the baked plum sauce was divine, and the cabbage dumplings were superb. I wish that I had been able to try the chocolate cake, but they were out, so I tried the Bavarian Cream, which I promptly returned. It was followed by some fruity desserts that I ate out of a feeling of polite necessity, having returned the previous selection. The service throughout the evening was ideal: polite, attentive, quick and quiet. My personal recommendation: order the soup, repeatedly . . . .
