The pastries are as delicious as they look, so it’s hard to choose from all their choices. We had a piece of peach tart and Streuselkuchen with coffee there and took a few pastries with us for later. Our munchkin liked their pralines and macarons...a lot. They use the coffee from Machwitz coffee roasters which pairs well with their pastries and cakes. The staff seemed at first a bit buttoned up but then “warmed up” and was incredibly friendly
It’s not easy to find a good patisserie in France so finding one abroad is almost mission impossible. Patisserie Elysee is one of those few fantastic patisseries where you can find a wide variety of delicious French little sweet sins. If you want to try...the real deal and you aren’t in Paris , give this cute place there are three or four Elysee in the city a chance and you’ll be amazed by the delicious creations of the maître pâtissier.
