I wonder why they offer yellow curry sauce if you can't cook it. The vegetables were 90% bamboo shoots, along with onions, a tiny bit of bell pepper, and a tiny bit of carrot. The curry sauce had barely any yellow curry paste and wasn't thickened (which isn't necessary if it's tasty). It was missing sugar. It was missing salt. Basically, everything in the sauce was missing. But a Chinese restaurant isn't Thai. The duck was fatty, very roughly cut, and definitely not a whole breast. Far too much tempura batter. I'd be better off cooking the dish myself. And €17 is pretty cheeky for this cost-cutting scheme. The rice—well, what can I say—they can't even get that right—far too grainy and undercooked. I won't be ordering from there again. Zero stars!
It tasted burnt, and the sauce was far too sweet and inedible. Cutlery was forgotten. The food arrived an hour late. I should have gotten my money back. Outrageous!
Delivery was relatively fast. The food was cold – especially the fried noodles felt like they 'd come straight from the fridge. The duck was super fatty and almost just batter. The sauce was peanut sauce instead of sweet and sour. So, in that sense, a different dish was delivered... Then the worst part... Working under a fake name. No surprise there, given the reviews here, but I consider it a scam if you order from Van Tan and have Lan Lan deliver. Be absolutely careful!!!
