Hinzukommt das sehr gute Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Wenn wir mal wieder spontan griechisch essen wollen,werden wir wieder kommen.

Moderne Elemente sucht man hier vergebens. Dafür ist das Gebotene aber top. Preise sind fpr die Qualität sehr sehr gut. Personal ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich. Ist der Laden sehr voll, manchmal etwas hektisch, dennoch äußerst herzlich.

At least 2... read more It's not the first time I had lunch at Ilion, but it's been a while. The Greek restaurant is located in the southern city of Hanover for an eternity. At least 20 years. The ambience is not lined with “Greek Folklore”, it could also be a typical “German” restaurant. A few pictures on the walls with “Greek motifs”, that is it. Clean tablecloths, on tables “a way” salt and pepper mills, paper napkins of good quality. The greeting friendly I came shortly after 14.00, normally closed at 14:30. I asked if it was still possible to eat, and that was confirmed. I know that differently. Without a look into the map, the “proven” grill plate not ordered from the Mittgaskarte! for 8,90€, plus an acl.free beer Einbecker for 2,80€, that was beautiful herbs and tastefully much better than K...ro. Beer and salad came within minutes. The grill plate from the regular card contains sep. Salad plate served on the way: iceberg salad not watery, herbal salad, peperoni, a piece of tomatoes, a few ruccola leaves, over it Sieghurt Dressing. Cracky and fresh salad pepper can be added as desired. No revelation – but good and at the price of the main court absolutely i.O. After the ointment it took only 10 minutes until the grill plate arrived with pommes instead of the usual “tomato rice”. The gyros are slightly crippled and juicy, the pig steak close to cutting, but not tough and good to chew “Zart” would not be suitable, but the Chiff Steak pig also juicy, spicy, with herbs in the flesh dough. A few onion strips I had no more appointment!!! Tomato tip fruity fresh and slightly piquant. Overall, the grill plate was as usual: good and very good PLV. The Ilion is a firm Greek of the “old school” worth a visit again and again, “when the small or great hunger comes”

The service when picking up is good, on site I have rarely eaten. Well packed for home.
