The service was very friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere is relaxed and harmonious through the old-looking environment and the adjacent river. To date, only the baked rice noodles, which were very tasty and beautifully prepared. Definitely worth a visit. View all feedback.
What Fatma Eder doesn't like about Aresto:
this restaurant was recommended by our hotel. normal for the new year was the place packed. we have a table right at the bathroom entrance, which was absolutely terrible. Behind us was the kitchen. they offered a 3-4 coarse menu. on the paper it sounded really great, but that was it. for 49-59€ it was very bad. I would say not worth more than €25-30. What a great location to start with a large outside terrace overlooking the river. Super good value food served and presented professionally.
Very nice gyros and souvlaki. The tzatziki was very convincing. Service.... Hmm okayish But surprisingly quality, and the prices were totally fine. Surprising because of some reviewers. Very very nice for a nice spring summer dinner or lunch with friends
The place is OK but definitely too expensive for the food quality that is regular not to say bad. I order rib-eye steak and I ordered it medium-rare I got something that you can on the photos. I would suggest going to another place.
Greek restaurant but lacking some of the atmosphere. Meze was good and abundant but did not quite strike me 100% as "the real thing". I always have a soft spot for Halloumi and the one on our table was good.Salmon was clearly re-heated and not bad really but not exciting either. Some of my colleagues had the "Bestelamb" which apparently was sublime so I probably picked the wrong choice.Greek yoghourt for dessert was good and I enjoyed it.Location is great (particularly so if you are visiting the Christmas market or enjoying some Gluhwein) and price I cannot comment as I did not pay myself.
The food at this restaurant was very good, I would definitely recommend the Rib-Eye steak which was on offer for 20EUR. We did however encounter a few issues whilst eating here. We arrived around 1900 and we shown to a table which was downstairs close the the bar where there was a TV showing a football game. We had been sat down for around 15 minutes when we were asked by the waiter to get up and move so that he could use the table for a larger party, which we refused to do. Throughout our time at the table people kept brushing passed to get to the TV, I believe the owner of the restaurant was one of them!Overall we enjoyed the experience but it's not likely that we would return in the future.
