**A Dining Guide to Angus Ale: A Mixed Bag of Delightful Flavors**
Angus Ale offers a spectrum of dining experiences, capturing both praise and critique. Many guests rave about their exceptional prime rib, flavorful crab legs, and renowned portabella fries. The casual atmosphere and reasonable prices create a cozy setting for casual lunches and dinners. However, inconsistency in quality has emerged, with some diners reporting overcooked steaks and subpar appetizers. Despite this, the friendly service and quick turnaround times have been consistently noted. Whether you’re seeking a comforting meal or just wing night specials, Angus Ale remains a notable staple in the culinary landscape.

The food was delicious! the rancher steak was tender and to medium-sized rarely perfectly cooked. the ribs were incredible and the beer was fantastic! and the prices were very reasonable. our server was knowledgeable and helpful. it was exactly what we were looking for and it was 30 minutes walk from our hotel, we will come back!
The service was excellent and the food was delicious. we had Portabella french, my wife had a steak, and I had the French dip. everything was fresh and delicious. our server was very friendly and happy to explain the dishes to us. in any case, the journey here will eat again.
Great food, great staff. We visited the Angus Ale pop-up in Ballater, and had a great experience. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful, and the food was fantastic. The burgers were the best we've had in the UK, and the desserts were great too. A good range of drinks to be had in a nice venue. My partner is coeliac so we appreciated that they could make gluten free burgers and desserts too. Happy days! We'll be going back.
I visited the restaurant recently and tried a dish called the Chesapeake. It was absolutely incredible!
I absolutely adore this charming, family-owned restaurant. I often visit for their soup and salad lunch special at noon. The salad bar, while small—about the size of a card table—offers fresh and sufficient options. They feature three homemade soups, and I have to say the chili is particularly delicious. They typically serve fresh rolls and a cake for dessert as well. All of this comes to under $10, including tax and tip! For just a few dollars more, you can add a sandwich. It's not a fancy place, but it’s perfect for a quick lunch before I head to an event on Saturday afternoons. I believe they are closed on Mondays. I've dined at about ten different restaurants in town, and overall, the food in Berkeley Springs hasn't impressed me much—but this spot definitely saves the day!
