We dined at this place while traveling to Haleakala on the road to Hana. There's a bunch of food trucks in this place with different cuisines with benches spread around. Parking can be a little difficult to get depending on the crowd. The food's decent, we got the chicken pad Thai and a special entree of the day as Mahi Mahi with basil. I asked for a side of fries instead of the full fish and chips and I was charged... View all feedback.
What Ilyas Beytaroglu doesn't like about Ae's Thai Kitchen(food Truck):
The rude employee today qualified to receive such a negative review. He was the unfriendliest person I have met on my trip so far. He stood in front of me yawning and chewing gum while I went to place my order. When asked questions, he seemed incredibly annoyed and gave mushy answers. Absolutely cheeky. View all feedback.

Had a simple pad thai and pad see ew when I had to go to Hana! A lot of places were closed but thankfully they were open and feeding the people that day. Really filling plates! Miguel Morales Photography
I’m surprised that customers are balking at the prices. Have they seen the rest of Maui? These food trucks are incredible a must visit everytime we’re on the island. The food is fresh and portions are huge especially for a food truck. Yesterday I enjoyed the coconut crusted mahi mahi with rice and papaya salad. My kids promptly took over my plate because it was so good. Yes, an entire plate of food on the edge of the Hawaiian wilderness for less than a sushi roll in Wailea. ;
Really good value! The shrimp Pad Thai will easily feed 2 people after a full day of touring around beaches and sights. Enjoy the mellow outdoor sitting.
Had the Crispy Pork Belly and Basil Stir Fry--Best Thai food I've ever had (and I'm coming from LA). Also had the egg rolls, which had great texture, but flavor was lacking a bit. Can't comment on the fish dishes, but the basil was out of this world. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend stopping here vs eating at chain/restaurants, food truck court had a nice Hawaiian vibe despite not really having traditional Hawaiian food options.
