Rumba - Hampton Bays
Rumba
Description
Rumba offers a vibrant dining experience with stunning waterfront views and a relaxed Caribbean-inspired atmosphere that many patrons find enchanting. The food consistently impresses, featuring standout dishes like Dominican ribs, jerk chicken, shrimp tacos, and expertly grilled seafood. Cocktails are creative, though some find them overly sweet or lightly spiked. Service opinions vary, with some praising the attentive staff while others report rushed or inattentive moments. Valet parking is mandatory but often chaotic and crowded. Vegetarian options are limited and pricey. Despite occasional service hiccups and wait times during busy hours, Rumba remains a beloved spot for its flavorful cuisine and lively ambiance.

One of my top five favorite restaurants on the East Coast! The comfort food is absolutely delicious, and the views of the bay are stunning. It's a must-visit when you're in the area—make sure to try the shrimp tacos and the chicken wings!
I love this place but lately they being acting weird Bartenders only follow what patrons allow totally get it Happy hours is Monday to Friday 3 -6 Now is 3-5 because is summer No notice or sign that show this I understand that as a Bussines can change anything that they want but at least let your customers know When discussing with the manager totally ignore No interest on trying to fix anything I simply feel that as a customer you have a right to know what your new rules are specially if you are. A regular I totally get that big companies don’t even care if one customer leave but you guys are big companies now bc of consumers The money is not a big deal money comes and goes but the whole feeling about being scam just because the Bussines change their mind they also have social media to post any change but they don’t which is very unfair
The parking situation is somewhat chaotic, as it's valet only. The lot can get crowded, and cars are often positioned so that they jut out slightly onto the highway.
The scallop dish was absolutely delicious, and the house salad made for a perfect complement. The ambiance was wonderfully summery.
I love the atmosphere, but the waitress got my order wrong. I had to ask for the right thing (bruss lee taco) which ended up being delicious. I’m also a big fan of their monkeying around cocktail, but the cup it came in was a little frightening. Vegetarian options: Small amount of vegetarian dishes— expensive cauliflower, two tacos, and your basic veggie burger. They can definitely do better
