This restaurant offers a mixed experience for diners. While some customers rave about the excellent onion rings and enjoyable live music atmosphere, others express disappointment with food quality and service. Issues include slow service, unavailability of specials, and inconsistent staff attitudes, with some waitstaff providing excellent service while others appear unfriendly. Despite these challenges, the location attracts attention for its decent prices in a touristy area, making it a potential spot for socializing rather than fine dining.
Food was not great. Paid a decent price and the food quality turned out basic. Our fisherman platter was ehh, didn 't have whole belly clam strips. The haddock was mushy, not flakey. The special on Thursday is Prime Rib, advertised on my menu. I wanted that originally. 5 pm on a Thursday and out of the special. So I ordered Marinated steak tips, mid rare, the tips were just a steak cut into pieces and they were well done and chewy as heck. I wouldn 't recommend this place for food. Probably just a bar to get trashed at.
I had a fantastic time, and the food is definitely improving. The music is wonderful, and I really appreciate the waitstaff!
There's karaoke on the first floor and a DJ spinning on the second floor. It's a great place for people of all ages, and the atmosphere is fantastic.
Really a beautiful atmosphere!!
