This is an ideal place to chill by the beach and have a great time with friends. They have a lot of food and drink options. The food is decent, do not expect gourmet. Anticipate a short wait to get a table, especially if you are with a large group. This place is fun and super lowkey. I highly recommend the nachos. View all feedback.
What Ken O doesn't like about Bernie's Beach Bar:
Went on a Tuesday, not too crowded, and we got a great seat on the second deck with full beach view. Food was wonderful. Had a great fish dish. Server's attentiveness was so so. Alcoholic drinks were completely watered down could barely taste alcohol. Expected better drinks for $17 apiece. It was a very funny atmosphere, food, drinks and service were great. Was told an hour for a table and lasted only 40 minutes on a busy Friday night! My only edition was at the Zach Deputy concert, we had bought tickets for them $15 per plus a $7 processing fee) and there was no point bc all that was allowed to in the area where he played. Nobody asked for tickets. No cover to get in. So what was the point of wasting money on cards? There was a group of 15 of us who left! Many wasted money for no reason. Now we know the next time!
Time to Hampton Beach at Bernie’s Bar was the place to be! Had a great time! There was also Maisloch a live band this night. One it was even rain was great!
Bernie's is a nice escape with a tropical vibe. Older crowd during the day. Rowdy, party crowd at night. Lunch for two with no adult beverages was $67.00. Hostesses were rude but server and girl who brought our food were good. Fried shrimp was delicious and fresh. Coconut shrimp came from the freezer to the plate for $17. Yummy clam chowder. Over-priced but it's on the strip at the beach. I wouldn't expect any less. Fun place with friends.
The woman and I sat down today to eat. I got a table right away and the bar staff was great. The food was very good. I got a sandwich. They had this amazing bar musician. His name is Rob Benton. Big singer and guitarist. Probably the best I saw on the Hampton beach. We'll go back soon.
Great place for lunch and drinks, nightlife is cool and the staff is top Notch.
