**Dining Experience at The Old Salt: A Gem for Every Occasion** The Old Salt offers an enjoyable dining experience with exceptional service and a vibrant atmosphere, perfect for families and casual gatherings alike. Guests frequently praise the attentive staff, who ensure every need is met, creating a welcoming environment. The menu features a variety of delicious options, from exquisite brunch dishes to mouthwatering steak tips, and even a standout mud pie dessert. While the outdoor dining area adds charm, staff interactions can vary, with some facing unwelcoming attitudes. Overall, The Old Salt remains a delightful destination, ideal for those seeking quality food and friendly service.

I visited this restaurant in October 2021, and it was incredibly busy, which meant I had to wait nearly an hour for a table. However, the steak I ordered was perfect and cooked exactly to my liking—a high-quality cut of meat! The location is great, making it worth spending a bit more on your meal. I would definitely return!

The motel accommodations were quaint and charming, and the staff was very helpful and friendly, with one exception. The host in the outdoor dining area was quite unpleasant. During our two-day stay, each interaction with him revealed an unfriendly attitude. I don’t remember his name, but he had short hair and wore glasses. Although there were several empty tables available, he wouldn’t allow us to sit and enjoy the entertainment unless we ordered food. There were four of us, all ready to drink, but he insisted we couldn’t sit under the tent or at the picnic tables. Even at 8 PM, with no one waiting to be seated, we felt unwelcome. We had dined there for two days, but apparently that didn't matter. Ultimately, we decided to take our business elsewhere. I can understand strict policies during busy seasons, but this was not one of those times. A little flexibility would go a long way.

Went to The Old Salt for their early bird special. Steak tips were tender and very flavorful. I would say the best steak tips I've had in a very long time. Fish and chips was delicious as well. The portions were perfect for a late lunch. If you're looking for a dinner size portion I would order an entree. The atmosphere was very inviting. The hostess and waitstaff were wonderful.

I would like to give a big shoutout to our waitress, Liv! She was completely fantastic and we had such a great time because of her up beat personally. She went above and beyond the duties of a waitress to ensure we had a great time. The food was good and would definitely go back. Thank you!

Can be a bit of a maze finding the restaurant if it is your first time finding each door directing you down the hotel, bar, or the restaurant sections. The food was excellent. The staff and management were very friendly and courteous. Save room for their specialty mud pie dessert.
