Was Kc at Mango Mangeaux a mag?
I had the most enjoyable experience! The decor is impressive, the staff is attentive. The colors alone in the decor is so inviting. We were seated immediately and our server was friendly and helpful as it was our first time here. There were plenty of vegetarian options, which was wonderful. What calamaestra dislikes about Mango Mangeaux:
I visited this restaurant with my elderly mother for a meal following a funeral. Unfortunately, we arrived 10 minutes before it opened, and the staff made a woman in her 70s wait outside in the cold. View all feedback.

The vegan options are quite limited, but the dishes available for everyone are well-prepared and executed.
The vegan gumbo was truly the only completely vegan option available, apart from the sides, but it was so incredible that I would return here time and time again just for that dish. Everything was cooked to perfection, and it had just the right amount of spice for someone like me who is sensitive to heat.
I love the atmosphere and the decor of this place. The drinks were amazing and they had so many options to choose from. Not many vegan options besides the gumbo which was fine. You could probably make something vegan but you’d have to take a lot of ingredients out. I’d go back just for the drinks.
What a wonderful surprise!! Just good people serving up food fun. I enjoyed the quiche florentine and they started me off with a fresh fruit plate. Doesn’t sound like much, but when was the last time you got something extra. They had an amazing drink list but I was working. Stop by and visit with these people. I’m going back.
