This restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. I didn't expect such a nice place in a shopping strip. The service was excellent, the food was good, and it has great atmosphere. I will definitely go back. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about El Azteca:
Ordered the Texas fajitas and for some reason it didn't come with rice like most other businesses do. So I had to order a side of rice with my fajitas. Service was decent, food was very hot and seemed fresh. I'll probably go back sometime in the future but not sure. And they didn't have beer on tap that i liked which is a big deal to me because I love beer on tap! View all feedback.
It’s a decent place with good food and a reasonable price. We’ve been there twice and will definitely return.
Use to love this place but a couple years ago the fajitas burrito declined and I stopped going (meat was weird). Decided to give it another try today and ordered enchiladas Yolanda… it was inedible. Mushy rice and there was only enough sauce to partially wet the tortillas so they didn’t melt like enchiladas do. They were a mixture of a stale and partially soggy flaky texture. Tried to eat the shredded chicken alone but it was dry. Ended up eating salsa and chips for dinner (salsa was still really good).
Better than Juan’s if you want actual seasoned Mexican food I highly recommend. Margaritas are also amazing and not quick to melt. Prices are extremely reasonable .
Service was great! Food was well prepared. They even accommodated our party of 8 last minute. Their salsa is slightly spicy unlike other Mexican restaurants. We bought a cup to take home. If we are in Hampton again, we will go back.
Good food gret service. This is our favorite Mexican restaurant
