I had the streets tacos and they were great. Husband had the chimichanga and it was great. But we're not here to talk about it. We're here to talk about THE DESSERT. I had the sweet Mexican fried bread sweetened with cinnamon and sugar with ice and a caramel drizzle, and let me tell you that I saw God. That could be the best dessert I've ever had. What Nick Burns doesn't like about Lunazul:
Surf and turf was 3 shreds of beef and 2 shrimp and all the rest rice, , and it was terrible and overpriced. Place used to be good 3 years ago. Not anymore. Server looked dazed and confused. Salsa tasted like you were eating a straight garlic bulb. Very disappointed, will not be going back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner View all feedback.
LunaZul is often our Friday night selection for a delicious dinner! Usually we carry out the order, but tonight we have inaugurated and the experience was fantastic! Our waitress, Kim, was amazing and we had to meet Jorge's cook and praise him for his incredible meals! We highly recommend LunaZul for the implementation and food, as it is such a good experience on the whole way!
Service was excellent. The food was not a wow for me. It was good, but I am picky about my Mexican food bc I grew up on it. The chef/cook was great and told me that I could request changes. My only real negative was the margarita. Tasted like straight lime juice.
Fantastic Mexican joint. I work in Hampstead and it's the BEST place to for lunch. Never had a bad meal and their free chips and salsa are excellent and homemade. Nice varied menu with some more authentic options.
