Walk On's Sports Bistreaux Gonzales

My first time here, I had a great experience. The food was good. I had the chicken avocado sandwich with corn grit and my fiancé got the adult grilled cheese sandwich with fries.

Anna was a very nice and friendly server! Their blackberry moonshine margarita cocktail was great and they have another with coconut blueberry that wad very good (both recommended by Anna). Alligator appetizer was very good!!

Atmosphere was nice. Almost all the food was good. We had a good time. I read a review from someone else and this is why we went tonight. The other reviewer mentioned a blackberry moonshine margarita. I had one and it was very good. Made the trip worth it for sure. I thank the other reviewer for mentioning it in their review and I thank Walk-Ons for having the drink. One of the sliders was not well done, otherwise all was good, everyone enjoyed their food, and had a good time.

Nice restaurant. Food was very good. Took a bit longer than average to get service. Overall decent experience Been a few more times. Really enjoy this place more and more. The girls who tend bar are great.

We have been wanting to try Walk-On 's for a while. I ordered the jumbo fried shrimp. I have been to other restaurants that say jumbo shrimp. Walk-On 's definitely takes the prize on this one. It comes with 8 JUMBO shrimp, hushpuppies and waffle fries. I think my husband and I could have shared them. They were full of meat and delicious. The hushpuppies were so soft, not hard and crunchy like other places we 've been. Waffle fries were fried just right. Not too hard or soft. Definitely glad we decided to stop and try it. My husband got a salad and cup of gumbo and helped me finish my shrimp.
