Description
KFC has garnered mixed reviews, showcasing a stark contrast between exceptional culinary enjoyment and alarming concerns over cleanliness. While some patrons rave about the delicious chicken, crispy fries, and attentive service, others recount distressing experiences marked by food poisoning and unsanitary conditions. Reports of filthy dining areas, overflowing trash, and a lack of communication from staff contribute to an overarching sentiment of disappointment. Despite the potential for great flavor and speedy service, many diners are left questioning the safety and hygiene of this location, prompting calls for improvement. For those seeking quality dining, caution is advised.

Maybe it’s just me, but I’m done coming here. The location is run down, with cracked parking spaces, and the restrooms were dirty. They ran out of napkins and provided me with paper towels from the bathroom instead. On my last visit, I received four chicken pieces, and the size of the chicken was about the length of my pinky finger! Corporate really needs to visit and see the state of things for themselves. There are no reminders of good service, just random chance encounters. I am convinced that the staff needs to be completely replaced—new manager and employees. The service is consistently terrible, and it’s definitely not worth the $9 I paid. I could get much better value elsewhere, and I wish I could get my money back so I could go to Cane's instead. There will be no next time for me, as I’ve decided not to return.
The food is good when they want to cook it. This location is a hit or miss. One visit the food is hot and fresh. The next visit the chicken isn't seasoned and the biscuits are hard. I guess you go when you feel lucky.
The wait staff here were courteous, and insanely efficient for a fried chicken restaurant. Best fried chicken restaurants I've ever gone to typically take what seems like as long as it normally would take to order a pizza or something a little more involved this one, however, was incredibly fast, and I still can't get over just how polite and awesome the staff was. They all deserve raises.
Unfortunately, this isn’t my first bad experience. I wanted a chicken sandwich, but this is what I got. I waited five minutes for them to make a new one, and when I finally looked, it was just plain. The first time I ordered, they at least put pickles and some mayo packets, but this time they just slapped the sandwich together with the buns. I also didn’t get enough fries—they should have given more. My large drink wasn’t filled all the way and the ice was already melted. The drink was lukewarm at best. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’m done going to this location. The place is run down, with a cracked parking lot. The bathrooms are filthy when I go in. They ran out of napkins and handed me a paper towel taken from the bathroom. Last time I ordered a 4-piece, the chicken pieces were as small as my pinky. Corporate should really pay a visit unannounced and see for themselves. I’m sure the crew would be fired and replaced with new managers and staff. The service is terrible and it’s not worth $9. I could get more for my money elsewhere. I wish I could get a refund so I could go pick up some Cane’s instead. There won’t be a next time—I’m done going there.
The parking lot at this KFC is unkempt, and the staff, though American, struggle with English. The service is dreadful and reflects a clear lack of attention, a problem that has persisted for over ten years. Over a decade ago, this location was outstanding. Yum! Brands should step in to rescue this sole franchise in a key Louisiana spot, especially since the closest KFC is an hour away. What is going on with Yum! Brands?
