Better fare than what the Hi-Ho in Livingston offered. Not as good as BBQ in Baton Rouge, but probably the best for the price in Livingston Parish. Ice cold glass bottles of Barqs root beer hits the spot here. View all feedback.
What Tim Clow doesn't like about Hi-ho #1 Barbecue:
Sandwich was okay best part of the place. Filthy and there were 5 employees standing at the counter just talking. Food on tables filthy trash on the floor. Literally no one e came out to check or clean the entire time we were there. Now there are 6 employees leaning on the counter doing nothing but gossiping. View all feedback.
I love this place. It is so amazing from breakfast to dinner, and the customer service is always a pleasure. Keep up the great work!!

Unbelievably good pork and beef sandwiches. Messy as heck but delicious and they provide plenty of paper towels at the tables. Don’t expect any fine dining accoutrements or atmosphere here just good food. If you’re hungry this is the place to go. Free advice would be to not wear anything you are afraid to leave with a grease or sauce stain.
The food was so wonderful and the staff were full of smiles. I definitely will be going back.
The smoked breakfast sausage was a bit greasy for me, I was unable to eat it but the pancakes, OMG THE PANCAKES!!!!
