Great people and service. Pre-Covid style service. Breakfast is hot fresh and free! They even have proper grits. Not the instant stuff! Piping lava hot grits in a crock pot. I don’t desire luxury, just functional. This is a well run Hampton. I now prefer them to Garden Inn where I typically get mediocre service with an attitude and a higher price. View all feedback.

I drove all the way from Texas and arrived around 1am, too find out they canceled my room because other people wanted to check in and they didn't have anymore rooms available, yeah I was upset but what made me more upset was that the front desk lady (RACHEL) was very rude saying what is the manager supposed to do about your room being canceled when I asked speak to a manager then she goes to say how am I going to get... Our stay was pleasant. The staff was friendly, the location was good. It's right around the bend from a Walmart store, so if you are traveling and forgot anything you don't have to go far. There's food nearby. They have breakfast in the morning that's average. The hotel itself is pretty quiet, it's pet friendly and our room was clean. The beds and pillows are rubbish, however. The mattresses were flat and hard, the beds were bouncy. Anytime we got up or turned over, it was like a trampoline. The pillows start out fluffy but instantly go flat. I honestly believe I would have gotten a better night's sleep on the floor. If they upgraded the beds and pillows this would be a 5 star rating. Yes, sleep and comfort is that important. Especially when you drive in from a 13 hour road trip, and go back out on the same.
Hotel was in great shape and staff was helpful. Bfast was decent and there was a Cracker Barrel within walking distance. A word of warning, though: *do not* park your car in the far back of the parking lot! Two vehicles were broken into the night we stayed there, and they had been parked in the furthest part of the lot behind the Hampton Inn. The staff were stunned that this had happened and assured us that the hotel was in a safe area. Hopefully this was just a solitary event.
We were stopping halfway between Florida and Texas and this has got to be the best Hampton Inn we have ever stayed at-and we have stayed at a lot! This place is clean, the rooms have plenty of outlets and are well air conditioned. The breakfast (my sons favorite part) was great and the staff was kind. Everyone staying there seemed happy!

As a Hilton Member I was extremely impressed with all facets of the hotel. The Checkin process was superb. Either Jean or Victoria was on the desk and very efficient and dedicated. Superb representation of the company. The room was the cleanest we have seen in a long time. Outstanding facility and staff. Breakfast was well laced put and staffed. All in all, a great place that we will return to on our many trips through Louisiana. Outstanding!
