I visited this spacious yet cozy pub during the London Toy Fair 2022 exhibition. I have always stopped by with clients for a quick pint at lunchtime and some more leisurely drinks in the evenings, and I have never been disappointed! What 165freddiem doesn't like about Beaconsfield:
My friends and I went to this restaurant last night and ordered several pints of beer along with some crisps. We ended up spending quite a bit of money. I requested a glass of water and was shocked to be charged £1 for it! I have never been asked to pay for water at a pub before. The staff working behind the bar were not very friendly either. Overall, we had a bad experience and will not be returning to this place. View all feedback.

This fantastic pub has a lovely ambiance and an impressive selection of gins. The manager, Aaron, was very welcoming, and although we didn't have a chance to sample the food, it looked amazing. We will definitely be returning!
I had a great experience at this pub! It had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, along with reasonably priced drinks and tequila. The bartender, Tyla, was incredibly friendly and provided helpful recommendations for local dining options. I will definitely be returning, and hopefully Tyla will still be working there.
The oldest review I could find is from May 2022. My recollection of this pub dates back to 1990 when it was known as the Frigate Firkin. The beer and music were fantastic. There was a live guitar player who came outside to chat with us while still playing "American Pie" through a radio link, which was truly magical. The atmosphere inside the pub was lively with everyone enjoying his performance. This was also the first pub chain to offer Beamish, which was delightful. A memory that will stay with me for life.

Special shoutout to Barry, the fantastic bartender who was super friendly, helpful, and had an excellent playlist on the jukebox - the best I've seen in a pub since the early 00's! Skip the long lines at the bar and flower stalls during the show, head straight to the Beaconsfield and enjoy a beer served with a warm smile!
