What Cathy Swails dislikes about Seaboard Station:
I visited my sisters and we went to have a Christmas lunch. The food was good and service also. However on my way into the house/restaurant there are 3 steps from the sidewalk down to a cement walkway to go upSteps into the house. I had stepped down 2 steps and took hold of the rail and it was very wobbly and I lost my balance and fell. Injured eye and hand. The steps going into the house only had rails on one side t... This is the best fried chicken I've ever had! It's an all-you-can-eat buffet, making it a perfect stop when traveling to or from the coast. The beef stew is nearly as good as the fried chicken, but the chicken still takes the crown. The restaurant is located in an old house that has a lot of character, creating a wonderful atmosphere. It’s tough to choose a favorite side dish—I had pinto beans, cabbage, and fried okra, and everything tasted fresh and homemade, not from a can. And definitely don't miss out on the banana pudding for dessert!
My family loves this place. We eat lunch here about every Sunday. Very friendly staff.

I had stepped down 2 steps and took hold of the rail and it was very wobbly and I lost my balance and fell. Injured eye and hand. The steps going into the house only had rails on one side the other side was missing. Did not appear to be concerned with what happened to me and hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Beware of the rails, they are not secure and can cause more issues than taking the hand of someone who is with you.
My absolute favorite fried chicken! Best way to describe ? small delicious ? southern style buffet food. Cornbread biscuits Fried Chicken Family Friendly Love my Seaboard Love my Waitresses everyone.
Seaboard Station offers an authentic Southern dining experience with standout fried chicken often hailed as the best in town. The all-you-can-eat buffet features fresh, homemade sides like pinto beans, collard greens, and fried okra, complemented by classic desserts such as banana pudding and carrot cake. Housed in a charming, historic building, the restaurant exudes character and Southern hospitality, with friendly owners and attentive staff. While service and parking are convenient and the venue is wheelchair accessible, some caution is advised due to uneven steps at the entrance. Overall, Seaboard Station is a warm, family-friendly spot perfect for comfort food enthusiasts.
