Typically French cuisine. Reasonably good food at an economical price with BYO thrown in for good measure. I just can't help feeling they're losing a lot in translation (the service) and across the cultural divide (service, style, finesse and decor). View all feedback.

Extremely disappointing, service was poor the waitress didn 't really have a lot of insight into the menu, The website displays beautifully displayed dishes to entice you, however the menu on offer was a far cry, as for the French Experience forget it this isn 't going to happen in this Restaurant. As for the menu, there really is no choice, you have only 2 meals per course to choose. Allow me walk you through the evenings choices. Entree: Choice; Salade Nicoise; Or I chose Cocktail Nordique, this was meant as explained, to be similar to a seafood cocktail salad in a creme sauce, what I received was.......potato in a cream saucy salad, it was tasty but not what was explained. Mains; Choice; Pot-Au-Feu [slow cooked beef served with carrots, leek, turnip celery] I chose Marinated Spatchcock served with french fries, lets just say the fries were great, my friend chose the Pot-Au-Feu [no turnips they were potato/ no leeks] carrots were impressive : . Back to my spatchcock it tasted more like dry chicken, lets moved on to desert, choice; my friend chose Galette Des Rois; Puff pastry with vanilla icecream and I chose Trio Gourmand; again average as well, this tasted similar to mini profiteroles, willing to give this a 5/10. But wait there is more...............free entertainment, 9pm we were entertained by many little German cockroaches randomly popping out of every and any crevice they could find, running all around the white walls of the cafe in some menacing frantic scurry for leftovers. Must say this topped our evening off, such a fun night to be had, the company was great.
FAR below expectations. Meal was ordinary to say the least and service was worse. The idea is good. Set menu. Limited options. So why not get it right? I do wish them well and hope things improve.
Used to be called Ma Belle's, now the French chef owns the place
