Utopia - Hamilton

The service was not as good as eating. we had to wait for drinks over half an hour and eat for an hour until the time when we got it was cold. for the second drink after the please to consider the cocktail menu again, the waitress that brought the menu did not bother to come back to ask what we had decided. second drink was required to be large but delivered as short. we had asked the waitress to check our foods and drinks, as she had given the delay and she did not seem excessively concerned or to do something about it. we had to ask the maitre de to help. we saw another couple waiting twice for their drinks after half an hour for two simple glasses wein.

Not worth the trip from the hotel and a taxi. no ambiente. a waste of time.

My wife and I have booked utopia for a dinner for our 3yr wedding anniversary. we came (no mention of the jubilee,) waited 10 min for cutlery menu, order another 15 min (fish of the day, huhn curry rose,) another 10 min to say there was no fish, another 20 min to get our food rose, leave 5 min to drink before they return to work. overall shameful poor service and average overpriced food.

The service was top notch. the food was fabulous and the portions are generous.

Best fish sandwich I’ve ever had! Loved sitting on balcony overlooking action on Front Street!
