This has been the best meal in Bermuda so far, despite the high prices, which are common across the whole island, not just at Tom Moore's Tavern. We dined on Christmas Eve in a lovely outdoor area, and it was wonderful to see other guests enjoying their meals. We had the escargot and rockfish, both of which were excellent, and we definitely couldn't miss the soufflé for dessert! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tom Moore's Tavern:
For a restaurant that is assumed to be a five-star establishment, our experience was disappointing. The service was slow, and our waiter seemed overwhelmed. My starter was overpowered by the horseradish, which was supposed to complement it, but all the side dishes were cold. It certainly wasn't the same restaurant I remembered from years past. We absolutely loved our evening at Tom Moore’s Tavern. We sat under a gazebo with twinkling lights and the sound of tree frogs singing in the background. The food was exceptional. My husband had the rack of lamb and I had the duck. Both were cooked perfectly and the quality of the ingredients was very high. The wine list is very extensive, with a selection of the best wines from around the world. The service was wonderful led by the charming Maitre D’ Bruno. We shall be returning again tonight and are looking forward to it. It is our favourite restaurant in Bermuda.
We celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary with friends. We all had an outstanding meal, service and overall experience. We will definitely be back!
The food was one of the best dinners we'd had in Bermuda, or anywhere for that matter. Delicious. Splurge and go.
25 years ago we had our Wedding Reception at Tom Moore’s Tavern so very special to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary there! Lovely evening outside with delicious food and great service!
