Jamaican Grill (court Street, City Of Hamilton)

I went to this Jamaican restaurant to look for some local Jamaican food! The head chef was so friendly and patient! He did have to explain what each one was because it was our first time trying Jamaican food! He also gave us great recommendation which sauce goes the best with the jerk chicken! We tried ox tail, jerk chicken and curry goat with rice and steamed veggies! They were all great! Would go back again if we could.

We tried the Ruck chicken and the Spicy Pig, and both dishes were delicious. The aromas were absolutely fantastic!

Delicious flavors! It was my first experience with Jamaican cuisine, and I had no idea what to expect or how to order. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They took the time to explain the different dishes and even let me sample one of their baked goods (I can't remember the name!). I ended up ordering oxtail, curry chicken, and vegetables with rice and beans, along with a baked dish stuffed with beef. I must say, I’m now a fan! The oxtail was well-seasoned, and the curry chicken was just right—not too heavy and not too light. The baked beef dish was unique, with a hint of spice and a lovely aroma. It was absolutely delicious! While the restaurant isn't fancy, it offers convenient and tasty food. I highly recommend checking this place out!
