Panera Bread
Description
Panera Bread's recent offerings have faced significant criticism, with diners expressing dissatisfaction over both the declining quality of food and rising prices. Many patrons feel the meals—often characterized as overpriced and unappetizing—fail to meet expectations, particularly for the cost involved. Complaints include cold, improperly cooked items, missing orders, and inadequate service, with an atmosphere described as unkempt and unprofessional. Customers have lamented their experiences at this specific location, leading some to vow never to return. Clearly, a renewed focus on quality and customer care is essential for restoring the brand’s reputation.

The quality of food at Panera has declined over time, while the prices have risen. It now feels like we are paying too much for subpar food, akin to what you'd find in a hospital. We spent $23.76 before tax on two Pick Two meals, which consisted of half a sandwich, a bowl of soup, and a piece of bread. I'm disappointed, Panera. I wouldn’t recommend it.
The curbside ordering process is exceedingly slow. I waited in the pickup area for half an hour before I decided to go through the drive-thru, where my order had apparently been ready for quite some time, just sitting there. If I hadn't chosen to use the drive-thru, I'm not sure how much longer I would have waited for my food.
I used to be a fan of Panera Bread, but not anymore. My wife was feeling unwell, so I thought I'd bring her a bowl of chicken soup. Unfortunately, it was really terrible—I ended up pouring it down the drain. It tasted like they added way too much salt to cover up the low-quality ingredients they now use in the soup.
I’m starting to think that this Panera Bread location either isn’t paying attention to orders or doesn’t take them seriously. Every visit, my requests aren’t met properly—items are missing, drinks are forgotten, and sometimes the staff seem indifferent to good service. My experiences here have consistently been disappointing. When spending your hard-earned money at Panera, you expect your order to be accurate and prepared to your liking. Sandwiches shouldn’t be dry, soups shouldn’t be lukewarm, and mac and cheese shouldn’t be cold. This location really needs to improve their attention to detail and customer service.
Extremely pricey with very little taste. My husband didn’t mention it until we got home because he didn’t want me to make a fuss. I bought a scone to take home, and my husband overheard the employee preparing the food ask the woman who took our order about the scone. He couldn’t hear everything, but she responded, “It just adds more flavor.” Did she drop the scone or do something else to it before giving it to me? I will never eat at that Panera again.
