The frozen treats drew us into this place, but we absolutely enjoyed the burgers and the perfect french fries. They have a good selection of drinks, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Well done! View all feedback.
What Julia Brewster doesn't like about Culver's:
Overall, I am a fan of Culver's, but I was disappointed with the long wait times during my recent visit. It took nearly 30 minutes for our order of 4 mini concrete mixers to be ready, and when it did arrive, my fiance's was overly melted. Despite this, the food was tasty. View all feedback.
First time there. It was an excellent experience. I will be coming back
I went through the drive-thru to pick up some food for myself and my sister. The flavor of the day was Turtle, so I got a waffle cone with that flavor, as well as a pot roast sandwich with a side of au jus to prevent it from being too dry. I also enjoyed their crinkle cut fries with cheese sauce for dipping. My sister ordered a kid's meal with grilled cheese, the flavor of the day, a strawberry milkshake, and an orange Fanta soda. The milkshake was actually for her grandson, who wanted something cold and delicious after work. The food was brought to my car warm, although they did forget to bring out one more item - the ice creams. Besides that, the employees were polite and respectful. It was refreshing to see that this location finally made the flavor of the day just like the photo - creamy custard filled with pecans, fudge, and caramel.
I find that this Culvers is hit or miss. It was OK this visit. I've had issues with cold food in the past. But mostly, I think their prices are a bit high. Visit on 11.6.23 Princeton Road, Hamilton, OH: I ordered the fish (cod) sandwich and fries, hold the bun. Asked for tartar sauce and salt. The salt was included, but no tartar. The fish (1 small piece) was very good and had been made to order. Just wish I had that tartar sauce. The fries were a disappointment. They tasted like grocery store cheap frozen french fries. Ew. This meal included a small drink. The total was almost 11 bucks. Not a good value with the fries tasting so bad. Service was OK. Food was a bit slow to cook one piece of fish and serve what tasted like store brand oven-cooked fries from the grocery. The person taking orders in the drive thru seemed a bit over the top with how excited she was to take my order and be of service. While I appreciated the attention, it seemed disingenuous after the fact since she didn't give me the tartar sauce I specifically ordered with my fish. I will give them another chance, but I will also check my bag before I leave and find a more economical meal next time.
