Great drink selection! I had the smoking gun and it was an awesome spin on a traditional bourbon drink. We'll come back for food soon as the menu looked awesome! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Uno Mas:
The service was on the slow side. The host was terribly disorganized and absent from the front door, which was bizarre for such a small lively place. For the number of employees who seemed to work cunning. The atmosphere was hip. But a touch dark....Maybe our candle was too dim. The music was funny too. Drinks were expensive, but excellent. The food was slow, but good. Improvements in atmosphere and service could tur... View all feedback.
Went here with my husband because we love meals with shared plates. We came early (they open at 6) and were seated immediately, our server was really friendly and knowledgable and we loved the atmosphere (albeit the music was a tad loud). We had the meat board (excellent! we love our charcuterie) and the raclette! The shrimp and muscles were also delicious. The one thing we didn't love was the octopus brushetta, I think it was the olive mixture that really over powered the dish and made it super salty. Also the octopus didn't have the texture I would normally enjoy. Other than that we loved our night out here and will definitely be back. Would be a great place to have drinks with friends or to take someone on a date.
Super groovy hip spot for met ups, incredible mixed drinks to chose from and a great menu selection with fantastic presentation however the service was a bit sub-par as staff/ bartender seemed bothered, not present or attentive to the paying customers.
FANTASTIC service! We tried the large charcuterie board, $38 for an excellent variety of cured meats served with a mustard(that my husband couldn't stop eating,) a jammy chutney and wonderful pickled zucchini. A side of fried bread was very tasty, however was not nearly enough to pair with the meat board. A second order was required....a bit disappointing there was a charge for this. We ordered some drinks, I had two magnificent Kefier Lime Mojitos....very yummy! I wish my pockets were deeper, I would have liked to try one or two of the drinks I saw the bartender make. We ordered two cheeses, this was quite surprising, very small offerings for $5 a piece, about a finger size. Excellent quality though! All evening our server had her eye out for any need, additional water, bread, beverages....did I mention excellent service. She was one of my all time favorited, most efficient and friendly servers...no I am not related to her. Another really nice touch was when the owner came to the table. He was engaging and we ended up asking him for a recommendation on tequila shots. He provided my husband with one and me a different one. Delicious ! The ambiance was really nice, despite a very large loud group that occupied the majority of the restaurant seating. I'm sure when we return, if there are a similar sized noisy group...we will not be staying. It detracted from what would have been a perfect evening. We left sated, not stuffed, with very happy tastebuds. Thank you Uno Mas....we much preferred this menu to your sister restaurant up stairs. Cheers...until we return .did I mention FANTASTIC service! Wow
What a cool little hipster joint, we had some infused tequila drinks that were awesome. Great ambience, very busy.
We originally went to have dinner at Mezcal but it was incredibly busy on a Saturday night and we didn't want to have to wait 40 mins. The host suggested their sister restaurant Uno Mas, which was right downstairs. The restaurant is quite small, similar to Mezcal with a boho vibe. They have a variety of meat and cheese boards, tapas and strong cocktails. We were very impressed by how tasty the food was! I would definitely recommend the lamb tapas and the octopus iberico chorizo brusketta! Only downside was how loud the restaurant was but it could also be because the restaurant was very busy!
