What User doesn't like about Toast Wine Bar:
The food was nice, small portions though.Used a groupon , it was like cash, no deal was given for it.The final bill was very confusing, seemed high, waitress was new and not knowledgeable on the concerns. Will not go back, neither will our guests.Do not guy any coupons for this restaurant. Toast was on my bucket list for ages. great Insta feed, interesting menu, what looks like a super sexy, chill vibe. check, check, check! early evening stopped last night for a cocktail few nibbles before a show at the fringe (btw .10% discount on f
My bands and I ate here before I play a show near. first, the room is nicely clean, spacious and yet cozy. the personal was friendly and friendly, but still professional. we ordered another court so we could share. The foods came in good time and every bite we took ended in a wow eating is delicious tasteful, interesting and well presented. also the prizes are fantastic. four of us have dined for under $100. if they are someone who prefers a burger and pommes, toast will challenge them, but to the best way possible. I didn't order a drink, but my bandmates really enjoyed the cider options. all in all, a total win!
Our party of 4 decided to go for a bottle of wine with something to eat in a cozy atmosphere and we were under the impression that this place would fulfill our desires. nothing close. the place is too easy. it doesn't make you feel. lazy. it was also extremely loud (95 of the amount was female with loud conversation and laugh;) when it played music, we did not even notice it. the weeping list, for a weeping, is extremely poor. the menu is also short, but we could forgive, as this is not a restaurant in itself, but a weeping. we ordered a Sicilian wee (very good,) 1 burrata salat, 2 salmon Greek, 1 frit and 1 Rhu-Bhaaaaaast. the waitress came back to tell us that they had only 1 salmon left, so we changed to 1 salmon and 2 Burrata salads and kept the rest of the order unchanged. it took too long to get food. we almost finished the wee when the courts made their appearance. the disappointments began when the Burrata salad was not 1 burrata with an salate, but the burrata was halved to fit the two dishes. were they out of enough burrata? the salmon was even worse. on the Greek pancake was 1 single, shy, shy, very thin, a transparent disc saumon! I could hardly find the fish in the pancake (or taste) at least, at the end of the experience, we asked for our bill, but we also asked to add a small commentary, and we told our waiter about the almost complete abnormality of the salmon in the plate. she asked to pull this out of the bill and we immediately accepted because we felt a little cheated with all this. we even let them know that they should come back and say they were completely laughed, instead of claiming they had only enough laughs for a court. at least she was kind to offer the discount.
While we would go back, we felt the food portions were small relative to price. Great service though and nice casual atmosphere. We would go back but likely after dinner!
A beautiful bar with outstanding staff and the best owners, Toast somehow manages to be both super chill and friendly AND feature the kind of amazing wines and food that are normally associated with more formal venues. Charming in every way. Also a really great...place to host a private event with very reasonable terms. Highly recommended.
