The Moghul's - Hamilton

As a vegetarian, I ordered food in advance only to receive non-vegetarian dishes which were completely disappointing. Despite preordering and waiting, I still received the wrong food.

We are huge fans of Amaya Express Brant St, where we have enjoyed over 35 excellent meals in the past 5 years. Recently moving to Stoney Creek from Burlington, we were hoping to find a local alternative at The Moghul's restaurant, but were unfortunately let down. The Moghul's offers a Dinner for Two with similar elements to Amaya, including 3 entrees (2 of which can be meat dishes), basmati rice, naan, appetizers, and a small dessert, all served in reusable containers. However, the similarities end there. We ordered the Dinner for Two for pickup, selecting the beef with spinach sauce, butter chicken, and aloo ghobi (potato cauliflower) as entrees. Unfortunately, none of the dishes were very flavorful, with the butter chicken being particularly disappointing - it consisted of overcooked meat in an overly sweet tomato sauce that was barely edible. Overall, we were very disappointed with the food quality at The Moghul's and will not be returning.

We have ordered take out several times from here and the 1st couple of times were great!! The last two times have been bland and no very spicy at all almost as if they had used tomato soup. Such a disappointment :

I went to the restaurant, with my family. the customer service was terrible. and food was not at all food. we literally ate 2 spoons from each dish. and we will never come back to this location. it made our visit horrible.

I pass by this restaurant every day and finally decided to stop in for some take out. Very nice inside and the tables were neatly set for the evening. Ordered butter chicken, rice and Naan bread.The order was ready in 20 minutes and it was delicious.. I will definately be back.
