Loved this place. It feels very comfortable and it has a nice look to it. Relatively small but enough seating to sit down and have lunch with a friend. I ordered the Rabbit Bowl, I have to say that the tofu in that bowl was the best non-deep fried tofu I have ever eaten. The bowl tasted decadent and delicious. My colleague (who is not vegan) had the Baja bowl, and couldn't get over how good it was. I also bought a ca... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Green Smoothie Bar:
New owners have made some nice changes to the decor and menu. I miss some offerings but there is enough variety to make alternate choices. Quality still good. Some portions are smaller but filling. Not all staff is friendly. Scowling and abrupt by some. Music blasting where orders are taken make it difficult to engage with staff. Focus on customer service and customer experience would be a nice addition. View all feedback.
Came on Monday when rise above was closed. the food was great - had the bombay burrito with cauliflower and potato tasty. the fried kicherbsen on the side really enjoyed it. split a purple people eater smoothie with my spouse, he and I both liked the thick and real obst aromen.
Previous one of the only legitimate vegan and healthy options in hamilton, now green bar is against some stiffer competition. instead of updating their game, they have actually reduced the options on their menu (sadly, some of the better options.) yet eating is still a good, fast option.
My first visit was amazing. I had the Mac n Cheeze (no avacado) and the Havana Burger and it was all soooooo good. I crave it now. My Omni friend was in Hamilton 2 days ago and i asked him to pick me up some food and even he loved the burger and he usually mocks vegan food. Can't wait to go back. The macaroons and cookies were delicious.
I go to the green smoothie bar fairly often its great for a quick meal or snack. My favourite is the Buhda bowl which i highly recommend! It may seem pricey but keep in mind the quality of the ingredients being used, vegan, organic, alot of gf etc moral of the story it is worth every penny! I recommend this place for breakfast, lunch or snack
