The Fox and Fiddle - Hamilton

I went here with friends after doing a bit of shopping.You can only enter it from the outside of Lime Ridge Mall and not through the mall itself.

Best staff and great wings and prices, plus amber is a super rad bartender, Alex is also cool.

Mediocre food at best. Nothing special. Good for a quick bite if you are shopping but otherwise don't go out of your way.

Before a "pub night " with old school mates my friends and I had a bite at the Fox and Fiddle as it was close to where we were headed for the evening. There was no wait for a table and service was quick and server friendly. My friends ordered a hamburg with salad for one and the other had a vegetable quesadilla. They both declared them tasty ...and the portions were generous. I ordered Buffalo Bites from the " starters " menu and it came with any wing sauce requested. I had the butter and hot sauce ...which is basically like " Franks " and butter...very tasty with some heat.There was a large serving of buffalo bites accompanied with 2 sticks of celery and 2 large carrot sticks with ranch type dip.Everything was fresh and tasty. It was also nice to get a cup of " perked " decaf rather than the instant decaf some restaurants offer. Our server was pleasant and efficient. Food was comparable in price to most pub style restaurants in the area.

The Fox and Fiddle is the only place to eat outside the food court in Lime Ridge mall. We must go outside mall to enter the cafe bar...with standard tender light. Striploin steak medium well just right with pink cut in the middle for me but overcooked one for my son. Taste is good but too dry for us, dressing bottle served at our table just not right for the steak....Some visitors prefer to sit on the bar near the entrance door. Waitress is nice, place is medium large.
