Sankofa Dining - Hamilton

The appetizers were excellent, but the main course was lacking. Overall, it’s worth a visit for the appetizers alone.

Went for a date night and had checked the menu online in advance just to get an idea what they had. The server was super nice, but the food wasn't exactly what we expected. The chicken wings were great, but the Calamari did not look like the picture they had online. It didn't taste fresh and was sat in a really sweet sauce that made the whole dish quite soggy. Chicken Burger was a little disappointing with the smallest fried chicken patty barely visible under the bungalow, but at least the frits were good.

Friendly staff and good food. Great portions. Only terrace dining available, but look forward to the visit again when fully open. Ian and Stephanie

Food took a very long time. No one else on the patio. One appetiser was excellent. Our main dishes were warm-ish and took over 45 mins. Maybe they were sitting waiting to be brought to the table. Two servers, who were nice, for two customers but not sure what was happening in the kitchen. Hope things improve and that they make a go of it.
