Some people must be confusing this place with the Pagoda downtown. I’ve been getting take out from here for over 26yrs and never had a problem. It’s a takeout place and okay maybe it needs a paint job but I’m going there to pick up...food I don’t need ambiance. Never been treated rudely, I think some reviewers should pull their claws in. Very good food. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pagoda Chop Suey House:
Absolutely worst chinese food, poor quality of food, very huge lack of customer service skills and charge way too much for what you're given. Will absolutely never return again. View all feedback.
I absolutely love the food, service, and prices at this restaurant. Everything is always served hot and quickly. I highly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. In fact, I'm feeling hungry right now and think I'll go there immediately.
I must disagree with the other reviews here. I have been a loyal customer of this establishment in Hamilton for 50 years and have always been happy with my experience. While the restaurant may not be pretty or fancy, and there is no dining room, the takeout is excellent, affordable, and comes in large portions. It is family-owned, with the same dedicated staff for decades. The food is tasty and reliable, never having had any issues with my orders. I highly recommend giving this place a try for some good takeout. You will not be disappointed.
Aside from being overpriced, the Food wasn't at its greatest. Both the chicken balls and spare ribs were far too dried out and very hard and chewy. not fresh at all!First and last time I'll order from here.
We ordered chicken balls and fried rice expecting them to be served separately, but they were placed together in the same container which affected the texture of the rice. It would have been better if they had informed us about this beforehand.
We ordered chicken balls and fried rice expecting it to be seperate but they put them together in the same container ruining the rice. Wish they would have told us this.
