From shawarmas to falafel and kebabs, the menu offers delicious options at great prices. The food is fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared, with generous portions and simple yet delicious toppings. The atmosphere may be basic, but the quality of the food speaks for itself. With friendly service, a warm welcome, and must-try items like the lamb wrap and chicken shawarma, Nabil's is a standout choice for Middle Eastern cuisine in Hamilton. An absolute favorite for many, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
Probably one of the best shawarmas I've ever had. I highly recommend it. The meat (mixed chicken and beef) was very fresh and moist. The pita and veggies were very fresh as well. The sauce was a perfect complement to the other ingredients not too strong or spicy. It looks like a family run restaurant. We enjoyed our meal in the small dining area. I shall return to try other items in the menu.
Was my go-to place for a few years (unfortunately work has moved) but great daily specials and the nicest hardest working people you'll ever meet!
Yaye for Falafel made without wheat products! Friendly family restaurant. Bring cash - no debit option to pay. Awesome home cooked meal.
My husband, my one and a half year old son, and I dined here last night, after a long afternoon shopping at the Hamilton Farmer's Market.Though Nabil's features a fast-food style experience, the food is healthful, tasty, and lovingly prepared. My order: the Saturday special, two beef kebabs atop flavourful long-grain rice, with two salads, cabbage & mint, and tabbouleh (parsley, cucumber, tomato, and bulghur wheat). My husband's order: two chicken taka---seasoned breast-meat skewers, done perfectly on a real charcoal grill, topped with garlicky white sauce. A huge bowl of lentil soup topped with fattoush chips, lemon, and sumac rounded out the fast-food splurge. During holidays, in addition to the usual homemade baklava, the owners prepare special pastries typical of Arab Christian homes. We were spoiled with a small package of honeyed sweets to take with us. This place is really an unpretentious, delicious, and affordable option given the growing lineups, not to mention cost, of the places popping up on James St. N. Hints: Free and reserved parking for plaza guests, restaurant closes at 8 pm.
I have been dining at Nabil's Grill for several years now. I have frequented many Middle Eastern restaurants in Hamilton and none can compare for taste or value of their lamb wrap! They also do catering, kebabs, shawrma, falafel not to mention daily specials. They have been in business 15 years and are a family run one location restaurant.
