Hong Kong Restaurant - Hamilton

I had no problem with the service, as others mentioned-it was efficient and pleasant. It was the food that was not acceptable. General chicken was red as if it was soaked in ketchup, but there was no taste. There was heat without taste. There were no courts that would encourage me to try again. It wasn't worth it.

As I have done for years, I went on 27th. December to the restaurant to pick up my order for a 5:00 a.m. I've been ordering Chinese to NYE for about 35 years so I know you need to get your order early. I came 20 minutes early at 440 and my order was already ready to go in the bag. When I came home, the food was COLD as if it had waited long before I arrived. I know New Year's is busy, but this is the first time I got cold food. Spoke with a friend and her last order a few weeks ago was also cold when they get it home. I'm not coming back!

Eating is excellent as always Bring Simcoe home as nothing compares there. Waiting area can turn people off and it definitely needs spruce, but the food makes it.

Went to this place because it had good reviews. First of all the kitchen and order area was filthy. I ordered over $75 worth of food. The orange chicken and beef was so well done that it was dried out and un eatable. The soup was watery and the beef fried rice was blan. Can't stress enough how disappointed we were. If there was a zero on the rating scale, I would have indicated it. This place is TERRIBLE. Don't ever go there.

My Family and I have been ordering takeout from Hong Kong Chinese Food for years. It is the best Chinese take out in hamilton! Must try!
