The original fried donuts are incredible and worth the drive down to the North end of Hamilton. $21 for a dozen donuts, with a pretty good selection to choose from. The dutchie is my all time favourite, and they had an abundance of them and many others at 8am this morning.Make sure to go in the morning to guarantee the selection, and if any at all. What Monique Berry doesn't like about Grandad's Donuts:
? I like the orange colour and the chairs are comfortable. The staff are polite and cheery.? I’m not a fan of the renovation. Not enough seating. A window row of chairs--that’s it. And I didn’t taste anything remarkable about the donut. View all feedback.

Pros: Price and quality of the donuts they do have.Cons: Basic (in my opinion) donuts when I look for specialty donuts I can't find anywhere else. For what this place is, it excels. I personally look for specialty donuts you can't find elsewhere, which this place doesn't really have. They have variations of regular donuts (for example, I ordered the honey dipped donut, which is basically a regular, run of the mill glazed donut), but nothing really special. If you want delicious regular donuts at decent prices, this is the place to go. 5 Stars for price and flavor. But if you're like me and don't want a glazed or chocolate donut, or basic apple fritter, but something unique and special no one else has, then go to Donut Master instead of here (albeit at a premium price). Otherwise, this is a definite to go place.
Friday, Aug 18@ 10:20amCame in with 3 people I work with as we were in the area and never tried it.Not the greatest. People were rude to everyone. Lineup was massive and barley moved. Highly disorganized. ALSO they DONT LIST THEIR PRICES!!This is our first and last time for all 3 of us…. Donuts look good. Paid $8 for 4Just not pleased about the customer service aspect
