The atmosphere is unlike anywhere else you have been before, Feels like you are at a restaurant in eastern Europe. Staff is very friendly and very welcoming to newcomers, The waitress helped explain some of the dishes to me in which I got a karadjordjeva which made my mouth water the whole time I ate it, Even the owner came around to see how everyones meal was going. Owner looked like he cared about his customers greeted everyone that came through the door. I love etno will definitely come again thanks for the great experience.
I loved the salads we got. The chopped greens were topped with a special feta cheese. In a way the cheese was quite salty but I liked it. Our entree's were all larger than we had expected. The pork brochette was nicely done, generous, and came with a large quantity of nicely done fries. Others had more Serbian dishes with names I can't recall, but everyone was happy. Interesting cosmopolitan atmosphere --- you will here many languages besides English, French, and Serbian.
Stopped here on the way to Niagara Falls from Toronto. Service was great! Atmosphere was outstanding! We order an array of different items as there were over a dozen people in our party. From ethnic fare- Karadjordje schnitzel, grilled meat platter, salads, and lepinje (bread) with kaymak were ordered. We started with soup and continued from there. Kids ordered pizza. .go figure, but they were happy.Homemade crepes (palačinke) were available and looked great but we had no room for dessert. There is also a bakery a few doors down where you can get some sweets to go if you wish.
Excellent food, very tasty and not too expensive.Staff very friendly Portion huge. We were party of 18 people had 4 Serbian mix meat platters for four and we could not finish Everything about this restaurant is good . Great band playing Saturday night .I would highly recommend.
