What C R doesn't like about Buddys Roadhouse:
The food at this restaurant is not very good, despite claims of being homemade. I ordered a burger and found it to be processed and unpleasant. The bun was crunchy and overcooked, and there was a large, unappetizing round of raw onion on top. The wings were also disappointing. View all feedback.
Great patio !! Nice beer & drink selection. Server was a little harsh. Food was ok. Good prices. Apparently a lot of people order pizza. We shared 3 apps. Nachos. (Ok & only $8)Orders dry ribs (they had none) And ordered garlic shrimp (they used precooked cocktail shrimp !? ). Had my favourite brands of beer. Stella & Sam Adams. Patio is the Best around. Big. Had shade. Comfortable. Think we'll go back & take the kids for this Pizza !!?
Bubby's is a neighbourhood restaurant, which has a friendly atmosphere.Their food is great and well priced every day they have different specials.In the cold weather a great fire place going.In the summer a very nice patio.
I've been a patron here for 15 years. To be fair: great staff, nice atmosphere and cozy fireplace. However, the owner makes it a point to scowl at everyone as he surveys the floor. We ordered 2 lbs of wings. The menu price way $15.99. We ordered 1 pound medium and 1 pound hot. When they came we laughed at the size of the wings, Sp small. Anyways, when we receive the bill the wings were priced at $18.95. When we brought the discrepancy to the waitresses attention we were told the price difference was due to the fact that we ordered 2 different flavors. First, we weren't told this at the time and the bill didn't separate the pounds. I hate being nickeled and dimed. Paying an extra $3 to sauce 2 pounds of wings is bad enough. The failure to disclose this is worse. They got their $3, but it'll cost them hundreds in the future because I WILL NEVER GO BACK.
I have just recently discovered Buddys (OK, it's been a couple years now). Great people, nice fireplace during the winter, fantastic patio in summer, great service. The staff goes out of their way to make sure that your visit will be an experience that you won't forget. You will want to return to this establishment for sure. Very relaxed atmosphere and most welcoming.
This is out new favourite spot to come and have a casual drink and pub grub . Unpretentious, awesome service , family owned and operated!! Fantastic patio and local bands
