What Joelle Rice doesn't like about August 8:
Food is decent and consistent. Service is usually good. Free parking is difficult to get but there are meters on the adjacent side street that are usually available. It's often noisy so try and get a booth in the front of the restaurant as the larger tables are in the back. I don't eat sushi so can't comment on that but the beef ribs and chicken skewers are probably my faviorites and the sticky rice is the most disap... View all feedback. What Market Rant likes about August 8:
Solid sushi spot. It's literally the same as spring Sushi and Sapporo, but that means it's pretty good. The rolls are fresh and medium to large in size with lots of filling. Prices are on the higher side but generally worth the quality and portion size. I prefer the all-you-can-eat menu, but we tried takeout last time. View all feedback.

Great place and excellent food I loved the buffet and the ability to select the items I want on the ipadWhat a great idea Very lovely decor.

read moreAugust 8 in Hamilton offers a consistent menu with decent food, especially the beef ribs and chicken skewers. While the service is usually good, there are some complaints about rushed lunch hours and price hikes for dinner. Freshness and quality of dishes vary, with some diners experiencing inconsistency in taste. The all-you-can-eat option is popular, with fresh sushi rolls and a variety of flavorful dishes. Servers are praised for their knowledge and enthusiasm. Despite some parking challenges and occasional lapses in dish delivery, August 8 is recommended for those looking for a memorable dining experience in the Hamilton area.
