Sonobana - Hamden

My friend recommended we go here after much deliberation over where to go for a dinner reunion. My first time at Sono Bana and the experience was a memorable one. The waitresses and staff were so respectful and attentive. I got the sushi set seaweed salad, two rolls, and 7 pcs of sushi/sashimi), while my friends got the dinner box special. The sushi tasted very fresh, and the presentation was solid. The only con about this place would be the parking, as it was pretty limited. Overall a great place to enjoy sushi and I will definitely be back ... with the bros of course)!

Great food and sushi! I enjoy their lunch and dinner box, california rolls, green tea ice cream and fried ice cream.

My family's favorite sushi spot for nearly 20 years. It's always quality sushi at a really affordable price. All the special rolls are delicious but the eel tempura and spider tempura rolls are my fave!

This is a truly lovely and beautiful restaurant set in a peaceful location. The food was not only delicious but also reasonably priced. The highlight of my visit was the warm and friendly staff. The owner, a kind man, even stayed open later for my friend and me since we arrived a bit late and lingered 30 minutes past closing. Our waitress was incredibly nice, and everyone there was so welcoming. I wish I could have tipped more because the wonderful staff really deserved it! I highly recommend checking this place out as it truly is a hidden gem. This was my first visit, and although I rarely write reviews, I felt compelled to share my appreciation for the excellent service and quality sushi.
