My wife and I dined here for the first time on Monday, June 13. There are several Mexican restaurants in our area, but as soon as we walked in, we felt a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. We both ordered the 'street tacos.' We were incredibly impressed not only with the quantity and presentation of the food but also with the quality and flavors. Our server was engaging, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive.... View all feedback.
What steverA8718SU doesn't like about Aunt Chilada's:
The salsa was delicious, and the quesadilla was excellent. However, the chicken was slightly overcooked, which tends to happen sometimes. It's a great spot to stop by after a round of golf at Sleeping Giant. View all feedback.
Enjoyed tha outdoor patio with friends during Happy Hour.. great service , chips and salsa, jalapeño poppers, chix tenders and Santa fe egg rolls.. all pretty good.. has been before and will go again. I would def recommend the birria tacos and esquites..
Always a pleasure to visit, helpful staff even for takeout, plenty of tables for indoor seating and several outdoor spots as well

My wife and I ate here for the first time on Monday 13 June. There are a few Mexican food restaurants in our area but, when we walked in the atmosphere was immediately relaxed and inviting. We each order the street tacos . My wife and I were very impressed by not only the quantity of the food and the presentation but, the quality and the flavors. Our server was very engaging, pleasant and available, although not hovering. The ONLY reason I didn 't rate this 5-stars is because we want to reserve that until we have tried more of their menu items. I am pretty sure we will not be disappointed.
Honestly very disappointing! as someone who enjoys eating out at mexican restaurants, this one is by far the worst i?ve ever had. for starters, it is a mexicali type cuisine. if you want something close to the genuine thing i would go to either puerto vallarta in orange/milford or toritos in north haven. the inside is very tight. the tables are close together, and it only seems like they have limited tables inside. the atmosphere is not cute as the bar and dining area are not separate. you are close together so it?s like everyone could hear your conversation. it took a while to be waited on. the waiter seemed to be running everything himself poor guy). as for the food itself, just awful. i ordered the steak fajitas and you can choose from any 3 sides: i chose rice, beans and guacamole. at any other restaurant, they would bring you your plate of rice and beans, but they gave me this small bowl filled with boxed goya rice that tasted awful and bland, and they practically mixed my beans in it! the steak in the fajitas had a funky smell to it, and since i was eating it with the tortilla, veggies and guacamole i did not realize until after that it may have been spoiled. they give you a small portion of meat, and most of it is practically just fat and burnt. again, very disappointing : i do not recommend this place. i give it 2 stars for the fries my mom had with her burger
